πŸ€– Kids Can Build Robots at Age 4 Here's the Proof

Can a 4-year-old really learn to code and build a robot? After three full weeks at our Summer Coding & Robotics Camp, the answer is a clear yes β€” and they did it beautifully.

A partnership built for little learners

This camp came together through Code Genius and the FIA (Build, Lead, Thrive) team, with Kidz Village providing support teachers so every child got close, quality attention throughout the day.

What 4-year-olds actually learned in 3 weeks

We designed everything around play-based, hands-on learning. In three weeks, our youngest builders picked up:

  • Fine motor skills β€” handling small tools and moving hands and fingers with control

  • Tiny-engineer basics β€” turning nuts, using a screwdriver, connecting a motor

  • Basic coding & robotics β€” programming a robot to move forward, reverse, and turn left or right with simple commands

  • Creativity β€” building their own structures with no limits on imagination

  • Teamwork β€” sharing, listening, and working alongside friends

  • Problem-solving β€” meeting small obstacles, trying, failing, and finding their own way through

"Watching them focus on tightening a bolt, connecting a piece, and beaming when their robot actually moved β€” it was adorable and impressive. These kids are so capable." β€” FIA teacher
